Dialtone Traffic Control & Training announces two new courses available in Narrabri.

At 9:00am on the 25th August, 2011 Dialtone will be hosting a Traffic Controller – Blue Ticket course at Best Employment – 87 Maitland Street Narrabri, NSW 2390.

Bookings are essential.

The Traffic Controller Course is designed for any person required to control traffic using a Stop-Slow bat in the Road Construction and Maintenance Industry. You will learn to understand the role of a Traffic Controller, apply the procedures of traffic controlling within a worksite, operate a two way radio correctly and effectively and promote the role of traffic controller in the community.

The following day; 9:00am on the 26th August, 2011 Dialtone will be hosting an Apply Traffic Control Plans – Yellow Card course, also at Best Employment Narrabri.

Again, bookings are essential.

The Apply Traffic Control Plans Course is designed for any person that is required to set up and work with Traffic Control Plans (TCP) issued by a supervisor or manager. You will learn to identify safety implications of traffic control at roadwork’s and personal responsibilities, set up and close down traffic control devices according to a nominated TCP, to OHS and legislative requirements, operate a 2-way radio correctly and effectively, check, clean and store equipment on completion of work and close down a TCP.
