Dialtone Traffic Control & Training announces two new courses available in Dubbo.

At 9:00am on the 29th March, 2012 Dialtone will be hosting a Traffic Controller – Blue Ticket course at JobLink Plus – 138 Talbragar St., Dubbo, NSW 2830.

Bookings are essential.

The Traffic Controller Course is designed for any person required to control traffic using a Stop-Slow bat in the Road Construction and Maintenance Industry. You will learn to understand the role of a Traffic Controller, apply the procedures of traffic controlling within a worksite, operate a two way radio correctly and effectively and promote the role of traffic controller in the community.

The following day; 9:00am on the 30th March, 2012 Dialtone will be hosting an Apply Traffic Control Plans – Yellow Card course, also at the JobLink Plus.

Again, bookings are essential.

The Apply Traffic Control Plans Course is designed for any person that is required to set up and work with Traffic Control Plans (TCP) issued by a supervisor or manager. You will learn to identify safety implications of traffic control at roadwork’s and personal responsibilities, set up and close down traffic control devices according to a nominated TCP, to OHS and legislative requirements, operate a 2-way radio correctly and effectively, check, clean and store equipment on completion of work and close down a TCP.

Induction Upgrade

Dialtone Traffic Control and Training would like to announce their next available First Aid course will be held at Railway Bowling Club in Erskine St, Dubbo.

This is an 8-hour course that starts at 9:00am sharp.

Booking is essential as class size is limited.

Participants will need to pick up the First Aid book from Dialtone offices one week prior to the course.

First Aid Courses Available

Dialtone now offers First Aid Courses in two locations; Bellambi, Wollongong and Dubbo.

Our one day, NSW VETAB accredited HLTFA301B Apply First Aid course enables participants to achieve the same qualification as in a two day course, but minimises the amount of time you need to spend in the classroom.

All Training Courses are delivered by fully accredited trainers with industry-based knowledge and skills. We are committed to providing the highest standards of training in our fully equipped training facilities, in an atmosphere that enables participants to achieve the best possible outcome.
